I dont' think Game 7 needs any real background, so we'll just jump into things. Wednesday
night I journeyed in town to meet up with Rob and Mike.d. Before the game we dined on delicious
cheese steaks...

... and grabbed a drink at TC's before heading over to Mike's friend's place to watch the game.

Oh, poor little pumpkin, you're going to get smashed if we win tonight.

Mike's friend Dan was nice enough to have us over to watch his HDTV...

... and dine on such fine snacks as Kit Kats and Bagel Bites.
Note: Teendrama fans may recognize such sleeper hit cast members as Christoff and Seth.

6th inning.

I think we all know how the game ended up - Sox beating the Yankees for the first time in forever.
Instinct lead us to throw on our jackets and head down to Fenway.
Here, me and Seth.

The scene at Fenway was crazy - just a ton of people with no other agenda but yelling
in the streets. For all the "I've never seen anything like this before!!" banter, the scene
was reminiscent of Syraucuse '96 when we won a bid to the Final Four.

Me, Rob, Mike.d
ps: Dear Mike Ferrari, where are you????

Rob and Sweet Sweet V-Ro.

Things started off as an ad-hoc parade and ended up as just a mob of people.

A look at some of the madness - people on rooftops, kids tearing down trees to fuel a bonfire,
some guy climbing a pole. (video, 2.7m)

Outside Cask and Flaggon. All the bars around Fenway had long since closed.

More.

Yankees suck. (video, 3.4m)

On the rooftops with drums...

... and flags, but not shirts.
Note to self: Remember to take my shirt off next time

More pole climbing.

I figured the crowd would be a little more rowdy, but to be honest there's not too much
shit to break around Fenway (and 1am is too early for fipping cars). This was about
the only damage I saw firsthand.
ps: Just heard that a girl died in the riots??? What?!

Kenmore Square. Packed with thousands.

Cops on horses.

Cops with big sticks.

Cops on horses again.

The streets around Fenway were packed with people taking victory laps. I'm a big fan
of the hanging-out of-my-mom's-minivan style.

Hey, I like your shirt.

See, every town has their D-Bag fans.

The walk home.

I ended up crashing at Mike and Rob's place on a couch that stank of garbage. Thanks, pals!

A look at the inside of Mike and Rob's apt complex - you heard it here first, but with the place
closing on Jan 1st for renovations, rumor has it that New Years is going to be an multi-level MTV
Beach House style party here.
